Salon Campaign Pitch with L’oreal
Role: Creative Lead and Project Manager
Overview: Led a team of three in the development and presentation of a campaign pitch for L'Oréal's Brandstorm competition, focusing on innovating the future of beauty for the Professional Products Division. Collaborated with team members to conceptualize and execute a comprehensive strategy centered around the creation of an app called Salon.
Responsibilities and Achievements:
Spearheaded the ideation and development process, working closely with team members Macey Boelk (Writer) and Doubra Daunemigha (App Development and Tech Specialist).
Created an engaging infographic commercial from scratch, including scripting and recording a voiceover to effectively communicate the concept and benefits of the Salon app.
Conducted in-depth industry customer research to identify gaps in the hair industry and conceptualize solutions, leading to the development of the Salon app.
Utilized tech-driven solutions to enhance the functionality and user experience of the Salon app, ensuring it met the evolving needs of salon professionals and clients alike.
Defined the target users and key performance indicators for the app, and developed a scalable plan for its implementation and growth.
Presented the campaign pitch to a panel of judges as part of the Brandstorm competition, showcasing the innovative features and potential impact of the Salon app.

Salon App Trailer
Marisa created this trailer using Canva within four days, despite having no prior experience in crafting an infographic commercial. Her proficiency in learning on the fly proved instrumental in the process. Marisa also wrote and recorded the voiceover and script. Graphics were accessed through the Canva Education Subscription, while the jazz music background was sourced from the YouTube Free Audio Library.
