avocado toast, a poem

Your just like avocado toast

Your too expensive for me

..But what I crave the most

And I see you at the grocery store

My toes curl in my sandals

You have a way of making me come back for more

But I take you home and put you on my counter

So the whole world can see you

But I never know when you are ready

Let’s be honest you forget me too.

You really get on my nerves you know

Your indecisive about your timing

Can you get your **** together so we can grow

But I take you home and put you on my counter

So the whole world can see you

But I never know when you are ready

And let’s be honest you forget me too.

I baked the homemade bread for you baby

Yet you had to go and drive me crazy

I waited to long,

and now I can’t eat you

You said nothing out loud and now you can’t love me too.
